Automation Test Analyst - VALID SC CLEARANCE REQUIRED TO APPLY

Work closely with Business Analyst, IT and Oracle Developer to convert new business requirements, or existing use cases or test scripts into automation tests. Support the execution and reporting of testing.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with IT to ensure testing environments and tools are set up and working
• Responsible for building regression tests for existing BAU functionality based on existing test scripts and use cases
• Responsible for building functional & regression tests for new functionality based on new business requirements, use cases or user stories.
• To work closely with Business Analyst to ensure new requirements are captured in a way and format to enable quick development of tests
• Test Data design & creation
• Guide Developer in standardising Unit testing
• Develop and Execution of automated scripts (UI and Database level)
• Support to and execution of manual testing if and where required
• Close and supportive working with the Business Analyst and Developer to share and educate on writing BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) requirements for development and testing
• Perform Non-functional testing (automated/manual)
• Contribute to root cause analysis
• Responsibility of developing/contributing to Jira Test Reports and Dashboards

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as an Automation Test Analyst with responsibility for identification of test scenarios, creation and execution of test scripts and test cases including test data.
• Working knowledge of testing and collaboration tools or equivalent
• Experience of writing and delivering robust tests at each level of the Development Cycle.
• Experience in configuring Jenkins Agents for testing, as part of CI/CD automation
• Developing test scripts for database driven applications (PL-SQL)
• Integrating Jira, Jenkins and PL-SQL scripts for automated testing and reporting
• BDD experience
• Strong analysis skills
