We need an experienced Agile business analyst who can rapidly slot into this ongoing functional delivery project and start to add value quickly.

The business analyst will need to confirm and elaborate on high-level requirements for the integration of Data to an existing long-standing Oracle solution. The analyst will need to plan their approach to extracting, capturing and prioritising requirements and will be expected to deliver detailed artifacts to support the functional design and build work (software development and system testing).


* Lead and manage investigations into business processes, information systems, functions, information flows, data structures and software development processes, using various technical, methodical and consistent techniques.
* Work closely, efficiently and effectively with business stakeholders to elaborate, verify and prioritise business requirements
* Work closely with the Solution, Data & Technical Architects, and the Software Engineer to determine how business requirements translate to functional requirements
* Collaborate with Delivery Manager, Software Engineer, Test Analyst to agree approach to capturing detailed functional requirements
* Support the production of clear, concise and traceable functional requirements
* Oversight of the prioritisation of the backlog to ensure that key user requirements are in place when needed
* Assist decision makers in gathering information to make informed decisions
* Promote a culture of assurance and security
* Work independently when required to deliver at pace using agile methodologies and principles

Desirable or

* Experience of business analysis working in an agile, project-based environment including: deconstructing user needs, modelling business processes, and capturing & prioritising requirements E

* Expert at making sure end-user perspectives are fully considered, alongside internal business needs and processes that need to be in place to ensure operational design is realistic E

* Expert in efficient requirements capture and elicitation using a wide range of techniques, such as workshops, shadowing, use cases, user stories, product backlogs, etc E

* Expert at written communication, with work presented in a clear, precise, and logical way E

* Experienced in problem solving and understanding any associated impacts E

* Conversant with reviewing and reading data models D
