C# Developer

I am currently looking for an experience C# developer for a consultancy client of mine to join them for a 3 month period as they are starting a project to rebuild their API using event sourcing with Marten. This contract will be completely remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a C# API using Marten and Postgres.

• Implement Event Sourcing patterns to ensure data consistency and integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a C# developer, ideally with a strong portfolio of software projects.

• Proficiency in working with Marten and Postgres.

• Experience in implementing Event Sourcing patterns.

• Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with .NET Core.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
