TYPICAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a communications professional you will have at least three years campaigns experience, delivering measurable impact through multi-channel response campaigns looking to take on your next challenge where you can get on and make your mark.
You are likely to have earned your experience within a services company (for example telecommunications, utilities, financial services), a not-for-profit, or a government organisation.
Responsibilities:
You will work with senior campaign managers to develop, deliver, implement and evaluate a range of campaigns
* Using insight to develop and improve communications messaging and impact;
* Work with our communications agency partners to deliver activity, ensuring agreed budget and timing KPIs are met;
* Monitor activity performance, recommend and take actions to optimize campaigns;
* Manage resources efficiently: Deliver to agreed campaign budgets, ensure goals are achieved and value for money is delivered at every stage;
* Manage campaign brand(s) as one of a team of brand guardians;
* Collaborate with teams across Communications and the wider organisation to ensure a high degree of co-ordination on campaigns where both national and local level communications and operational activity is required;
* Provide subject matter leadership to colleagues across communications and the wider organisation.
* Work with and manage external agency campaign streams
Other Criteria:
You will have at least three years campaigns' experience and will be able to demonstrate the following abilities:
* Developing, planning and delivering integrated and creative campaigns across the full marketing mix, to achieve defined objectives;
* Experience of using audience insight to define campaign tactics and messages;
* Experience of developing and implementing campaign forecasts, tracking and evaluation;
* Experience of broadcast and direct channel campaign experience and/ or digital and social channels would be highly advantageous;
* Demonstrable experience of working with teams across organisations to ensure communications outcomes are achieved, and integrated;
* Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, pressured and changing environment, with proven ability to plan and achieve objectives;
* Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written;
* Experience of managing and working closely with multiple agencies to ensure the successful campaign delivery.
Desirable criteria:
In addition to the above, it would be advantageous for you to have one or more of the following skills/experiences:
* Experience of marketing to hard to reach population groups;
* An understanding of influencer marketing. Experience of managing influencers as part of an integrated communications strategy, tracking their performance and presenting ROI to the wider organization;
* Knowledge/experience of youth marketing;
* Experience of working on educational marketing and campaigns;
* Experience of content development and delivery across a range of formats.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential criteria:
* A Marketing/Communications degree, Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) qualification.
OR
* Equivalent experience.
