Data Architect

We are seeking a Contract Data Architect on behalf of our higher education client, for a 6-month contract, offering up to £550 per day, outside IR35. The role is remote working with occasional office visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business objectives within the Higher Education industry.
• Develop and implement data architectures that support the organization’s strategic goals.
• Design, implement, and maintain data models, databases, and data integration solutions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate data management technologies and tools.
• Provide expertise in data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
• Lead and mentor junior data professionals in best practices and data architecture principles.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or Enterprise Architect.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration.
• Previous experience in the Higher Education industry is highly desirable.
• TOGAF or equivalent qualification is a must.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
