We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Contract Data Migration Project Manager to join our client for an exciting opportunity based in London. As a key player, you will lead and oversee a crucial data migration project, ensuring the seamless transition of data from existing systems to advanced cloud platforms.
This is a contract role, working on a hybrid basis with weekly office visits to the office in London. The role offers a rate of up to £375.00 per day, outside IR35.
- Project Leadership: Take charge of the end-to-end management of data migration projects, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery within specified timelines and budget constraints.
- Informatica Power Centre and Power Exchange Migration to Azure: Leverage your expertise in Informatica Power Centre and Power Exchange to ensure a smooth transition to the Azure cloud environment.
- BI Oracle Data Marts Migration to OCI: Manage the migration of Business Intelligence Oracle data marts to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), optimizing performance and reliability.
- Business Objects Reporting Migration to Azure: Lead the migration efforts for Business Objects reporting to the Azure platform, ensuring minimal disruption to reporting functions.
- Apex Migration to Azure: Drive the migration of Apex applications to Azure, ensuring a secure and efficient transition.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate project progress, and address any challenges that may arise during the migration process.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring that the data migration project progresses smoothly and meets all objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in data migration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Informatica Power Centre and Power Exchange migration to Azure.
- Expertise in BI Oracle data marts migration to OCI.
- Experience with Business Objects reporting migration to Azure.
- Familiarity with Apex migration to Azure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and office-based work.
