Delivery Support Officer (DDaT)

Inside IR35.

Remote 3 month contract. £27 per hour

Description of Requirement:

The Strategic Learning and Development team has a requirement for an SEO Delivery Support Officer, reporting to the Head of Strategic Learning and Development.

The Strategic Learning and Development team support the growth of a Highly Skilled, Digitally Capable Workforce for DST (Digital Services and Technology), able to deliver quality outcomes aligned to the Digital Strategy for ONS. We sit within the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Capability Hub, providing effective talent management, learning and professional development services.

We work collaboratively with all stakeholders to identify and meet their learning and development needs, adding value by sourcing from appropriate suppliers, creating early talent training programmes, enhancing DST Induction, creating coaching opportunities for those who need it, and improving the outcomes and value for money achieved by using our contracted-in Learning Platforms and the established Civil Service-Learning framework provision.

Responsibilities:

The Delivery Support Officer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Implementation of Talent Development programmes (e.g. A Year in Industry training programme for University students)
  • Implementation of a coaching process across DST

Relevant Skills and Experience

Essential

The service provided by the Strategic Learning and Development team is visible across DST with demanding delivery timescales, therefore the successful candidate will need to plan and prioritise work to ensure they can deliver at pace. We use agile techniques to plan, track and report on progress.

The ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders is an essential requirement.

The ability to collaborate with other colleagues to deliver the best outcome for the students.

Desirable

Awareness of insights and trends/developments in Learning and Talent management, especially within the Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) Profession.
