Job Description

As one of the largest regulatory bodies in the UK, my client is currently going through a plethora of technoogy transformatiions across the business

They are now looking for an Enterprise Architect to join their programme function working alongside the programme director in to ensure that the business strategy is translated into appropriate Enterprise Architect (EA) artefacts and that future technology solutions adhere to approved architectural principles whilst also beign reflective of business needs

To be considered as a suitable apllicant, you will have:

  • +5 years of experience working as an architect within a comparable business sector/size of organisation
  • Applied experience in two or more architecture domains (Business, Data, Application or Technology) and a good understanding of the technologies applicable within them
  • Practical experience in developing, applying and driving value from the use of architecture principles
  • The ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Enterprise Architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF or equivalent)

You will be tasked with:

  • Continuously striving to provide expertise and advice to the ICT Director and Senior Stakeholders across the organisation
  • Understanding the business vision, goals and objectives whilst understanding the impact of constraints and risk
  • Proactively collaborating on strategic thinking and vision, translating when required, these into defined architectural models
  • Continuously improving and running the Enterprise Architecture (EA) governance processes and ensure alignment with the strategic vision
  • Developing strategic architecture roadmaps, gaining understanding, buy-in and driving alignment with Programme roadmaps
  • Aligning with approved collateral e.g. designs, providing technical oversight on in-flight projects and programmes, adhering to relevant governance processes and chairing technical design authority
  • Growing and managing the Architecture knowledge base through the development of data models, standards, and the design and implementation of processes and tools that drive consistent, value-adding use of the architectures; and ensure that outputs are consumable, usable and applicable
