Finance Assistant - Pension Review team

  • £15 per hour, 37 hours a week
  • Contract role, Inside IR35 (Must go through UMBRELLA or LTD company)
  • £1600/£1700 per month take home pay after taxes average
  • 5 month duration (likely extension)


Job description

The Role
As part of the Annualised Hours Pension Review team, you will be tasked with monitoring the progress of a 5-person Complex Case investigation Team (CCIT), quality assuring their work and maintaining key documentation such as guidance notes, process maps and lessons learnt. You will drive a collaborative way of working within the team by chairing regular team and individual sessions which will ensure the team applies methods consistently and learn from shared experiences.

You will be the main contact point for Payroll Managers and the CCIT when disseminating project related information, as well as reporting regularly to the Payroll Managers on progress made by the CCIT.

Key Responsibilities

* Quality assure CCIT work prior each case being closed
* Maintain/develop CCIT guidance and process mapping documentation
* Monitor and record each CCIT member's progress in terms of cases worked through to conclusion
* Ensure consistent methodology is applied throughout CCIT work
* Regularly report to Payroll Manager's on CCIT updates

* Comfortable using Microsoft Excel
* Sharepoint or similar document storage solution
* Numerical skills
* Working in a Payroll or Pensions environment
* Teamworking/collaboration
* Communicating to colleagues at all levels
