I'm working with an organization who have experienced a period of growth given their nature of their business and need an extra pair of hands to focus on their Infrastructure Environment.
It's a hybrid environment, some hosted servers and some physical. The role would be good for someone who has an in depth knowledge of servers. Can you spin up a new VM? Have you configured and added services? Are you keen to progress into cloud?
The role is more focused towards project activities with a small portion of BAU. As you grow into the role you are given more technical freedom to progress your skillset and position in the company.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a passion for technology and be keen to learn. You would ideally have experience / knowledge of (not all essential):
- Windows Server (2013,2016,2019)
- Hyper V
- Active Directory
- Storage / Backup Devices
- Networking / Routing / Switching
- General troubleshooting
A 'can do' attitude is a must and the successful 3rd Line / Infrastructure Engineer will have the opportunity to fast track their career both in terms of knowledge and responsibilities. This rapidly expanding business will present opportunities for both more senior technical and/or management opportunities in the future.
A full driving license is required for this role with some work being conducted on client sites.
