Technical Architect - API Architecture

We're looking for an experienced Technical Architect to be part of a small team to develop an API consumer on boarding process covering things such as:-
* Workflow driven on boarding processes & tools
* Integration into the APIGee API Management tool
* Solutions to support managing developer accounts

In addition, the resource will be expected to cover other elements of Digital API development such as API design, consumer assurance etc. This will require the candidate to work flexibly, managing a number of concurrent work packages

* Applications & Infrastructure-focussed technical architect with demonstrable experience of working successfully with varied development teams in a fast-paced cloud-based environment.
* Experience of developing modern APIs, operating at scale
* Experience of API Management and API gateway tools
* Experience of systems interoperability & associated patterns
* Experience as a consumer of modern APIs
* Experience of authentication/authorisation standards e.g. OIDC, OAuth2
* Excellent written and communication skills
* Evidence of identifying and documenting functional and non-functional requirements for a project
* Experience of architecting large-scale solutions on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platforms


* Knowledge of NHS specific API and integration solutions
* Experience of integration with ServiceNow
* Knowledge of interoperability within Healthcare systems and associated standards (FHIR)
* Knowledge of and experience of using architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
* Knowledge of core NHS and healthcare technologies
* Knowledge of the NHS
