Are you a 1st/ 2nd line support in search of a new challenge ?
As IT Support Engineer, you will be joining an enterprise level organisation with over 5000 employees and be responsible for the installation and configuration of hardware and software to ensure the smooth running of company systems
Additional to the business maintenance, You will be cooperating with other teams within IT Services and other technical teams in the business with the aim of all service being supported, achieving continuous delivery and operating to an agreed standard
Skills and Experience
Commercial experience as a 1st or 2nd line support
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with good attention to detail
Technical ability supporting and maintaining hardware and peripheral devices.
Experience of using a ticketing system
Experience supporting Windows 10, macOS and CentOS.
Microsoft Office Suite 2016 and above
Day to day responsibilities
Resolving tickets at 1st and 2nd line level and escalating to 3rd line where required to gain the fastest resolution
Performing desk moves and ensuring all local PC locations are documented and updated
Virus alerts handling
Creating and maintaining Active Directory groups.
Applying and maintaining folder permissions on shared drives.
Providing remote service for Infrastructure hardware.
