Our Midlands-based, public-sector client is looking for a Mailbox Administrator for an initial 6-month statement of work which will be a blend of remote and onsite working. Security clearance is desirable for this assignment.
The role:
You will pioneer the migration of the user mailboxes throughout the deployment of our public sector client's Microsoft 365 Business Pilot. With the inclusion of the remaining 4500 users migrate mailboxes throughout the full rollout as and when required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Exchange 2016 and M365
- Experience in mailbox migrations
- Experience in managing implementation or upgrade projects.
KEY SKILLS:
- Detailed understanding of Exchange 2016 and M365 environments.
- Detailed understanding of Exchange related user object attributes (both on-prem and M365)
- Previous experience of performing mailbox migrations in a complex environment using both Exchange native tooling and PSTs.
- Previous mailbox migration experience and familiarisation of the Exchange Control Panel.
- Understanding of PowerShell scripts.
- Ability to run reports on mailboxes to understand numbers and sizing.
- Ability to troubleshoot mailbox migrations.
- Able to troubleshoot and understand the wider Microsoft Windows platform, protocols and interfaces
