Are you an experienced Technical Architect with SME skills and experience within Networks and Cyber Security? My client is a NHS organisation in London looking to appoint an interim for an initial 3 month period.
The role:
- Working in part of a Cyber / Networks programme
- The individual will be part of a team responsible will review and audit the current network and server estate with a migration plan to moving systems into a new environment
- Delivering a deep dive analysis on the current technical estate
- 'Cleaning the house' first approach before assessing 'blue sky thinking' and future solutions
- Delivering a roadmap for resource requirements
- Delivering a technical roadmap for the next stage of the programme
Experience/Skills Requirements:
- Has proven experience as a Network & Security Architect
- Including the following technologies: Firewalls, Switches, Routers, WAF, VMware, Splunk
- Has previous ICT experience in Implementing and Designing Secured Networks and Systems
- Proven project experience defining plans, requirements specs, designs, milestones, and deliverables to tight deadlines
- Excellent knowledge around security technologies, including Firewalls/IPS/Malware/Wireshark
- Excellent knowledge of routing protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- Strategic thinker who can communicate network concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Subject matter expert for networking
- Configuring, installing, decommissioning and troubleshooting all infrastructure and network environments, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Telephony and Firewalls
- Must hold current CCNP or above qualification
- Desirable MSCE, MSCA, MTA, MCSA, CCNA, CCP, CCA, VCA, VCP
- Desirable experience with Microsoft Windows Server or Cisco UCS Administration
- Desirable - Experience with Datacenter migrations
- NHS experience is highly desirable
