Operations Director

I’m working with a global business in Sunderland who need an external energy to work within the Operations Leadership Team. You’d be required on site full time, they offer free parking, a fantastic culture, on top of the salary banding between £70,000 and £75,000.

The purpose of this role is to lead and develop the Operational team into a cohesive high performing unit delivering on all of what they set out to achieve. The site will be undergoing a period of positive change through business growth, so an inspirational and good change manager will be successful.

You’ll be part of the leadership team and be a major contributor to the strategic aims of the site, but still not too far away from the day to day – this mix of skills is unique and will allow the post holder to grow a strong team of excellence.

Some duties will include (very high level)

• Managing P&L, budgets etc.
• Maximising efficiency within teams, success measured by client KPIs/satisfaction
• Innovative and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement
• Matrix management of a 200 strong workforce

Due to the nature of this position you will need to reside within a commutable distance of Sunderland to be considered.
