Job Summary

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective processing of Europe payroll activities, including producing accurate and timely payroll reports and monthly accounting. You will also be the primary support and contact for the payroll and HR teams based in local offices across Europe as well as outsourced payroll provider. Expected to be a leader with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence.

Some duties will include;

  • Oversee monthly payroll services for all Europe countries and ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries
  • Reconcile monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Ensure all payroll related statutory payments are made on time without penalty
  • Liaise with payroll vendor, benefits vendor and other statutory consultants to ensure smooth renewals, payments and reporting
  • Undertake and participate in projects related payroll process and other HR functions that helps in process improvement
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc payroll reports for internal & external customers where requested.

Experience required;

  • Substantial payroll experience, more than UK payroll preferred
  • Proven supervisory experience especially remotely handling team
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and statutory web pages
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines & under pressure
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to take on additional projects
  • Strong attention to detail & analytical skills
  • Ability to organise, manage and prioritise workload
  • Proactive approach to service improvement & processes
  • Driving licence is required for this role

Education and Training

  • Certificate in Payroll Bookkeeping
  • Certificate in Computerised Payroll
  • NVQ 2 & 3 in Payroll Administration
  • CIPP Degree in Payroll Management
