Job Description

Are you a Principal Engineer interested in making an impact in the engineering of an enterprise scale PaaS product which is going to revolutionise the FinTech industry?

This company are based in London but this is a remote role where you'll be working as part of a small distributed and autonomous engineering team to plan, design, refactor and re-engineer the businesses core product whilst driving the technical strategy with the rest of the engineers to develop high quality software.

You'd be working in a .NET house for the time being, but they are agnostic and open minded - if there are better tools out there to do what needs to be done, let's see if we can make it work. If you've worked with C# and .NET recently or in the past but are working with another language now, or vice versa, we'd love to hear from you.

Ideally you'll be hands on with Microsoft technologies, such as .NET Core, C#, .NET Framework, Git, microservices, OOP, SOLID, TDD, CI / CD and Azure, Azure Data Lakes with some open source technologies alongside. If you don't have experience with all of the tech mentioned, don't worry. We're wanting to create a diverse team where promoting learning and development is key. So if you can demonstrate picking new technologies up quickly and if you're eager to learn technologies which will enable you to engineer high quality we want to hear from you.

You'll need to be UK based, eligible to work in the UK and be able to commute to London at short notice for very occasional travel to the office but we appreciate and want people to feel comfortable and flexible to work from where they are most productive.

There's a salary up to £90,000 plus opportunities to progress in a scale up environment working flexibly and remotely unless you need to be in the office for team based activities very occasionally.
