Talent are partnered with a global name to hire a Procurement Category Manager on an interim basis.

This is a contract for a varied and established team, you will work on new RFP to support a mix of teams within the business from Legal to Customer Service. You'll have stakeholders in the US and UK working with a budget between £500k to £2 million, but not limited.

This opportunity, will be to provide strategic sourcing and spend across the number of categories including consultancy services, contingent labour and HR/legal services. This large corporate organisation will require the Category Manager to manage stakeholder relationships, lead on RFP activities for across the category and manage all supplier negotiations. You will work to ensuring cost saving targets are met, and supplier performance meets or exceeds business needs.

To succeed in this role, you will be commercially minded with a procurement background within a global capacity. You will have a corporate background with extensive indirect procurement experience across a number of categories. Having a strong procurement background you will be commercially savvy and be a strong negotiator, you will have a strong knowledge across a number of indirect categories and be a strong team player. You will need to be able to take a lead and have experience managing complex information and data.

This is an interim opportunity for a minimum of 6 months (inside IR35), with a global organisation offering a competitive pay package.

There are remote options but presence in the office may be preferred.
