Remote for foreseeable. When the risk of COVID infection is eliminated or much reduced we envision that many of the team and community activities will take place at our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices, for at least part of each week.
A product manager defines, owns and solve problems. They manage a product through discovery, alpha, beta and live states. They support the senior product managers and may line manage associate product managers and support their professional development. They have a deep knowledge of product management techniques and are developing expert skills. They may be involved in recruitment. This role may be suitable for those who may not have directly worked in product but who have held other digital roles or civil servants with sufficient experience across other competencies. The team's vision is: Creating innovative document management and financial capabilities at RoS to support a forward-thinking sustainable business. The document management product team's work includes work includes the creation and implementation of a document managing framework enabling the archiving of documents in the Cloud while replacing legacy systems and processes. They are doing this in three stages, transferring to the cloud to create a secure and sustainable archive, then making that accessible and that, in turn, creates opportunities for how we find our deeds and images. In the last year they have created cloud archives for the digital submissions of our CAJR and Sasines registers, (key registers maintained by RoS) they have also migrated the older archives of those registers. Their focus now and into the new financial year is the Land Register Archive
- Responsible for one or more products within their area to ensure they deliver value, realise the intended benefits and meet the roadmap objectives
- Work with Associate and Senior Product managers with cross functional teams to deliver outcomes
- Build relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Participate in the product community of practice at RoS
- Represent RoS at Scottish, UK and international events, if required, specific to their areas of work
- May have future line management responsibility
