I am working with a client exclusively as they build their product team in the Bristol area. The client is looking to hire a number of permanent Product Professionals. They are looking for a Product Owner to join them on a permanent basis. As a Product Owner you will work closely with the development teams, Scrum master and have a dotted line to the Head of Product.

This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for your next challenge as a Product Owner or even if you are considering moving into a Product Owner role.

Product Owner Specification:

  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 3 years minimum.
  • Degree Educated with a relevant degree (ideally)
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision that you can communicate clearly
  • Attention to detail
  • Take the lead of scrum team/teams as the Product Owner
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
  • Plan and prioritise product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Keep up to date with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
