The Role
This is an ideal opportunity for a technically-minded professional looking to transition into a Project Management career path. Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will support the delivery of high-end technology infrastructure for a prestigious brand.
You will bridge the gap between hands-on technical implementation and project governance, ensuring that complex IT rollouts are delivered to an elite standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Workstream Ownership: Assist Senior Project Managers with large-scale deployments while taking independent lead on smaller infrastructure sub-projects.
- Site Auditing & Quality Control: Conduct physical and digital audits of hardware and network environments to ensure global standards are met.
- Project Governance: Maintain RAID logs, assist in the creation of steering group reports, and manage the logistics of multi-site rollouts.
- Implementation & UAT: Facilitate technical training for regional teams, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the technical point of contact between internal IT departments, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders.
Your Background
- Technical Foundation: A solid understanding of IT infrastructure (Networking, Servers, Cloud Services) and the M365 ecosystem.
- High-Stakes Environments: Experience working in fast-paced environments (e.g., high-end retail, hospitality, or corporate HQ) where attention to detail is essential.
- The Project Mindset: Highly organised with an interest in project methodologies. You should be comfortable following strict governance while remaining agile enough to solve on-site problems.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; you must be confident enough to flag delays and suggest process improvements.
Requirements & Attributes
- A practical, hands-on approach to technology.
- A willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Europe.
- Ability to work unsociable hours occasionally to support critical go-live windows.
- A high-energy individual who thrives in a mobile, autonomous role.
£300.00 - £350.00 / day
