Recruitment Administrator - Central Government

  • Fully Remote Working
  • £9 - £12 per hour, 37 hours a week, Inside IR35
  • Contract position, 3 months initially, like to extend
  • Onboarding new starters/run security checks/general administration

SERVICE REQUIREMENT

People Solutions sits within People and Business Services (PBS) Directorate. The directorate delivers strategic interventions to support the organisation in transforming its current capacity and capability as well as on demand services and products in HR, Estates, Health & Safety, Business Services and Security. PBS contribute to maximising the impact and development and leading the people strategy of the Government Statistical Service (GSS) and the Government Analysis Function.

Job Description

To deliver an efficient and welcoming onboarding service to contingent workers being deployed across ONS.

TYPICAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage correspondence with contingent labour workers on introduction to the organisation.
  • Ensure all required ID and security check information is in place before the worker starts.
  • Provide a point of contact for business areas and workers to resolve any issues
  • Maintain all records and trackers accordingly to track contingent labour activity and starters.
  • Ensure that appropriate systems are notified providing contingent labour workers with the correct systems access to be operational from day 1.
  • Manage and update Service Desk calls as appropriate for the engagement of contingent labour workers
  • Variety of administrative tasks to maintain service delivery, including communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a proven record of establishing, building and maintaining relationships
  • Demonstrate ability to be organised with well-developed planning skills, attention to detail and ability to co-ordinate several activities in the same time frame, quickly analyse and resolve specific problems
  • Proven ability to organise workload, to prioritise, and manage rapidly changing demands and priorities
