Job Description

Search Engine Optimisation Analyst

  • Central Government Contract Position
  • Inside IR35
  • Fully remote working anywhere in the UK
  • Daily rates 500/550 per day, can be negotiable for the right candidate
  • 6-months initally

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth technical audits and prioritise findings
  • Build reports & dashboards to monitor SEO performance and progress using digital analytics & other reporting tools
  • Analyse digital data, identifying trends and uncovering insights into users' search engine behaviour
  • Work with product managers and developers to ensure technical SEO best practices are implemented
  • Keep up to date with developments in the search engine optimisation space, including changes to the algorithms
  • Constantly be on the lookout for new SEO opportunities and use data to identify and quantify them
  • Work with the content design team & business areas to promote SEO thinking in content creation
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO performance

What we are looking for?

  • A broad technical understanding of search engine optimisation
  • Experience of developing SEO performance strategies
  • Experience of optimising search for content sites
  • Experience using the Google suite of tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Data Studio, or similar SEO & digital analytics reporting tools
  • Experience using Excel and Google Sheets, with knowledge of data manipulation functions
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate findings to wider team
  • Experience of Web log analysis
  • Knowledge of Content Design & Accessibility principles
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
