Senior Network Engineer

Stoke-on-Trent

up to £60,000pa

As a Senior Network Engineer you will be capable of leading and delivering project related work.

Responsibilities

  • Working in a project lead capacity for business led or infrastructure led projects
  • Carrying out mentoring tasks to other team members in order to assist with their technical development
  • Supporting the team in a 3rd line capacity including incident and major incident management
  • Raising awareness via the change management processes relating to touch points where changes to the network may have an impact on other dependent services.
  • Carrying out mentoring tasks to other team members in order to assist with their technical development

Skills

  • Commercial experience in an equivalent Network Engineering related role
  • CCNA/CCNP/CCIE
  • Experienced with software defined networking and affiliated technologies such as OpenStack, VMware or Kubernetes
  • Experience automating network infrastructure
