Job Description

Talent are partnered with an exciting startup in Bath. They build tools which help devlopers become more efficent at what they do. Their product is the trusted software stability "command center" for over 5,000 engineering teams worldwide, including Airbnb, Slack, Pinterest, Lyft, Yelp, and Pandora.

The product processes over 1 billion crash reports daily from 85,000 applications

We are seeking X2 engineers to work with them.

x1 senior engineer 5+ years exp - 65k

x1 software engineer 2+ years exp - Anywhere up to 50k

Ideally, we are looking for engineers who are versatile and able to adopt their solution design approach to utilise the best technology choice for the problem in hand - which may not be their go to or most familiar language / framework/tool.

This mind-set is crucial to succeed in this role.

You will be joining an agile team of talented engineers focusing on the design, development, and testing of the core error report processing systems; developing a microservice architecture in Go, Node.js or java (Spring) working with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch and messaging technologies RabbitMQ or Kafka; working closely with other engineering teams on new product features;

Your background likely includes over 2 years experience developing in OOP languages;

ability to multitask effectively;

quick to learn new skills and solve problems;

bachelor degree in CS or equivalent experience.

Bonus points for:

Experience with application error monitoring;

Interest in engaging with the community through conferences,

Writing blog posts, attending meetups etc.;

Experience using Docker or Kubernetes;

Experience using Ruby
