SQL Database Technician Job Specification

Remote or Hybrid working from Newport
Rate: £550-£600 per day (Inside IR35)
6 months initially

To assist in SSIS ETL work for a data migration project, regularly updating delta changes from on premise systems to Azure SQL Databases. To also support any other SSIS work required. To support Power Bi governance and administration. To develop Power Bi documentation for best practice To develop Power Bi Reports for internal Teams.

* Experience of Microsoft SQL server
* Experience of Business Intelligence methodologies
* Experience SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL workloads
* Experience of working in a commercial SQL environment
* Experience of RDBMS systems design and methodology

Desirable:

* Experience of Azure Data platform, SQL PaaS
* Experience of Power Bi, SSRS and/or other mi data analysis toolsets
