Are you a hands on Tech Lead wanting to work for a highly successful SaaS scale up?

You'll be working as part of a highly inclusive and distributed engineering team with an office in Manchester to work as part of a team of Tech Leads to plan and drive technical strategy, pairing with the engineers to develop high quality software and to promote best practice around testing and Agile.

Ideally you'll still be hands on with Microsoft technologies, such as .NET Core, C#, .NET Framework, Git, microservices, WebAPI, OOP, SOLID, TDD, CI / CD and Azure (e.g. DevOps, Storage, PaaS) but don't be put off if you don't have experience with all of the tech mentioned if you can demonstrate picking new technologies up quickly and if you're eager to learn the technologies listed.

This role will be around 70% hands on and 30% hands off but this will also change depending on the needs of the business. When you're hands off you won't have any line management responsibilities, but you will be mentoring and coaching engineers, working with them to implement the strategy you have designed, and lead the teams with any other technical requirements.

You'll need to be UK based, eligible to work in the UK and be able to commute to Manchester at short notice for planning meetings, workshops and socials. We anticipate this to be approx. 20% of the year but outside of that you can work from wherever you feel most comfortable and productive.

There's a salary up to £95,000 plus opportunities to progress in a scale up environment working flexibly and remotely unless you need to be in the office for team based activities (approx. 20% of the year). You'll also get dedicated budget for learning, conferences and 10% time to do personal development, pension, mental health first aiders, private medical and dental insurance, 25 holiday days plus much more.
