Test Engineer (Accessibility)

Job Description:

Test Engineer. (Accessibility) Central Government.

Inside IR35.

Hybrid - Manchester

£325 per day - Duration - 6 months

Our Central Government Client is looking to bring in experienced Test Engineers with extensive Accessibility Testing and full life cycle testing experience in Agile Digital (DDaT) environments.

In this role you will:

Maintain automated tests in continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

Use, develop and standardise reusable frameworks and tools following engineering practices and standards

Analyse and test artefacts such as products, services and business processes

Promote quality considerations throughout the development life cycle

Support the resolution of technical issues

About you:

For this role, you will need experience of testing applications for accessibility compliance using JAWS, Dragon, ZoomText. Additionally assessing applications against WCAG 2.2 AA standards and Microsoft Accessibility Standards for both UI and Mobile applications.

This is a high profile DaT Government project which will require knowledge and past experience of working in a government/public sector, digital and Agile environment. You will also need to be eligible for SC clearance.
