Tackling youth unemployment
At Talent we try our best to use what we have to make a positive impact on the world around us. As a leading digital recruitment agency we have access to lots of forward-thinking hiring managers and scaling brands. We aim to leverage these relationships to provide opportunities for young people who are facing traditional barriers to employment, particularly within the technology sector.
RISE UP was founded to do just that. A registered charity that is funded by Talent and acts as a bridge between employers and vulnerable young people in the hope that meaningful work experiences and/or employment can really help transform their future.
- £120,000 Donated every year Last year we donated over £120,000 in support of young people seeking meaningful work experience.
- 100 Young People Last year we connected 100 young people with meaningful work experience.
- 600+ Fundraising Hours Our teams donated over 600 hours of their working week to fundraising activity.
- 1,738 Mentoring Hours We have recruited a network of mentors to help provide work readiness mentoring for young people.
