Are you an experienced ITSM service desk manager looking for your next assignment? Our NHS client based in London, are seeking a Service Desk Manager to join their team for a 6+ month assignment. This is outside of IR35 and a mostly onsite role.
The role:
IT Service Desk management of service desk teams across multiple sites
ITSM advisory – 2 service desks merging into 1 service desk
Process improvement – best practice ITIL methodology
70% hands on operational management, 30% ITSM advisory and process improvement
Day to day team management (rotas, performance, reviews, quality, reviews, etc)
This role fits within the technical environment (core infrastructure and networks), this role does not include clinical applications.
Experience required:
Demonstrable experience managing complex service desk teams across multiple sites
Experience in organisations that have recently merged / have an enterprise level structure
Delivering significant Service Desk improvements and implementing new processes
NHS experience is highly beneficial
Technical background within service desk and/or engineering
IT Service Management experience

Key Responsibilities:
