Responsibilities

  • Working alongside Architects and Functional Consultants to ensure projects are running correctly
  • Scripting and coding with languages such as C# / JavaScript
  • Completing the design and implementation of plug ins
  • Supporting end to end projects from a development point of view
  • Focusing on the Customer Engagement & Power Platform business applications
  • Carrying out CI/CD responsibilities
  • Analysing business and system requirements

Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience within a Dynamics Developer position (Minimum 2 years)
  • A demonstrated history within the developer space
  • Previously worked on large scale end to end projects
  • Being able to implement solutions of codes and scripts
  • Integration experience
  • Experience in automating business processes
  • Provided support on a multitude of different projects previously
  • Experience with scripting / coding / programming
  • C# / JavaScript understanding
  • CI/CD (continuous integration / continuous deployment) experience
  • Strong knowledge of D365 CE & Power Platform

Salary Details

  • Salary would be up to £90,000 per annum

As a Service Management Implementation Expert (both IT and wider business) specialising in ServiceNOW, you will play a pivotal role in driving business transformation through the strategic deployment and optimization of ServiceNOW’s service management capabilities.
This role focuses on the business implementation, process optimization, and change management aspects of ServiceNOW, ensuring seamless integration with organizational objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. An experienced Service Management practitioner is required to establish and embed ITSM processes across Service Desk and other IT practices in line with the Service Enablement Maturity roadmap.
The successful supplier will work alongside the ServiceNow developers to ensure operational processes are well supported by the ITSM system. As this role includes combining operational best practice with tooling capabilities, it is essential for the candidate to have operational experience as well as exposure to ServiceNow implementation, and familiarity with ITIL practices.
You will be responsible for training and coaching of any users of the ServiceNow system to ensure effective use of the platform across RoS. Working with RoS enabling functions to define customer needs and articulate them from an Agile perspective for the development teams. When required support the development team to build agreed requirements.
Past experience with Agile ways of working will be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities:

  • Auditing of existing ITIL/Service Management processes with RoS and define areas for improvement
  • Translating operational areas for improvement into development demand
  • Lead HR colleagues through readiness steps to embed ServiceNow HR Service Delivery module within RoS
  • Document and implement ITSM Quality Assurance within RoS
  • Provide training and coaching for ITSM processes across Digital and associated teams
  • Evangelise the strategic direction of ITIL/Service Management practices across RoS
  • Coordinating Major Incidents
  • Contributing to ServiceNow product roadmap
  • Support and deliver the disaster recover assurance of digital services, striving towards a sustainable Recovery Time Objective of 2hrs and Recovery Point objective of zero. This will be assured at 6 weekend points over the course of a FY year

Essential Skills

  • Operational experience leading Service Management
  • Previous process management and process ownership experience
  • Experience in SLA & reporting set-up
  • Experience as a ServiceNow developer
  • Ability to facilitate Agile requirements gathering
  • Strong teamwork, self-managing and self-initiative, coaching, collaboration & communication skills

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of the newly offered products in Vancouver ServiceNow release
  • Experience of Jira/ServiceNow interface development
