Our Northwest based, consultancy client are currently seeking 2 skilled Contract Data Analysts to join their team, specialising within CSDM/CMDB data.

The role is an initial 8 months with a possible extension. The budget for this role is £400 per day, outside IR35. The role is remote for the most part, however fortnightly visits to the Northwest based office would be required.

Key Responsibilties:

Supporting Design Team Operations:

Assist the design team in interim operational management of CSDM/CMDB data.

Fulfill requests to change data, model and update Business Services, Application Services, Technical Services/Offerings data.

Data Quality Governance:

Liaise and engage across functions to support teams in validating, policing, and governing data quality.

Collaborate with various teams to ensure data quality standards are maintained.

Business Requirements Analysis:

Analyze and understand business use and process requirements of CSDM/CMDB data.

Identify business requirements and opportunities to improve and extend current datasets.

Data Management Support:

Assist in data collection, migration, and mapping activities.

Support Infrastructure, Platform, Cybersecurity, and local teams in building federated ownership of data and managing certain data changes.

Standard CSDM Model Adoption:

Ensure the adoption of a standard CSDM model across the business/service delivery lifecycle.

Business Services Portfolio:

Support the establishment of Business Services and the Business Services Portfolio/Taxonomy.

BAU Service Configuration Management:

Assist in the definition and build of Business as Usual (BAU) Service Configuration Management capability and associated processes.

Service Mapping Development:

Support the emerging development of top-down Service Mapping to make all ServiceNow applications service-aware using the CSDM framework.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CSDM/CMDB data management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
