Talent recognised as one of Gallup’s top places to work for the second consecutive year

Talent has been named a recipient of Gallup’s global 2020 Exceptional Workplace Awards for the second year in a row – the only Australian-based company to be recognised in the group of winners.

The Gallup award encompasses all industries, and recognises Talent as a world-leading company which has achieved exceptionally high levels of engagement through investing in its people to create a positive, supportive employee experience.

According to Gallup, Talent was particularly recognised for its commitment to investing in employees and gaining a competitive advantage during rapid workplace changes. While the demands of the workplace are changing, Talent’s culture addresses the mission and purpose, development and training that employees need for high performance. The Talent values “lead the way”, “strive for better” and “give a damn” were viewed as reflecting the drive of the business to transform its industry and positively impact the community.

Gallup’s meta-analysis on team engagement and performance is the most comprehensive workplace study ever conducted with data on more than 1.8 million employees in 230 organizations across 49 industries and 73 countries. Statistically, only 15% of global employees are engaged - defined as being committed to their work and connected to their workplace. At the 38 companies that made Gallup’s Exceptional Workplace list, 70% of employees scored as actively engaged and Talent’s engagement levels were recorded as 76%.

“I am proud that Talent has once again been recognised as one of the most exceptional workplaces in the world,” said Talent Founder and Executive Chairman Richard Earl.

“The world and the global business community have seen challenges this year that many would think unimaginable. I truly believe that Talent’s resilient culture and dedicated team is responsible for our strong performance during this time. Our commitment to our people has been reflected back in their hard work and dedication to Talent, and for that, I am very grateful.”

Head of People and Culture - APAC, April Marcot said:

“We are delighted to receive this award which recognises our desire to lead the way in team engagement. At Talent, we are focused on creating a culture that thrives on high performance, embraces difference, and embodies our values. Our teams feel connected to, and deeply passionate about our vision and purpose. Our management team understands the intrinsic relationship between performance and engagement. Their commitment is authentic, they really walk the talk.”
