For the last 4 years we have partnered with Shell to help them build and run an Agile incubation hub for their renewable energy projects. The hub is home to ideation and product discovery and is filled with Product Managers, Product Designers, Scrum Masters, Service Designers, Agile Specialists, Data Scientists, and Developers; all working together to innovate and help Shell on their journey to a more sustainable future.
In its early days, the hub started with around 20 people from the Shell business. We’ve grown the hub to 150 specialists over the last 4 years, sourcing and attracting new talent from around Europe for contract roles that would eventually lead to permanent jobs within the company.
The hub has recently created two new major products that the business is adopting, and the majority of the teams working on those products are in the process of progressing out of the hub and into the project environment to start design, development and deployment.
We’re now working with Shell to rebuild the incubation hub to support more of their ideas around renewables and sustainable energy.
