Helping Ableton pioneer inclusive & equitable hiring
On a mission...
Since 1999 Ableton has been a pioneer in the industry, with its high-profile product used by artists globally, live and in the studio. Ableton is one of those cool companies that most people in the industry can only dream of landing a job with, but that doesn’t make it any easier to find the expert talent they’re striving to attract.
To make matters more complex, the music tech industry is still a long way from catching up when it comes to diversity, equity and inclusion. As an industry pioneer, Ableton is doing everything it can to push for better opportunities for all and we are helping them with this mission…
Campaign service
Ableton chose our Campaign service to help them hire:
- Head of Learning
- Sound Delivery Manager
- Backend Engineers (Golang)
- C++ Engineers (junior, mid and senior level)
- UI Designers
Perm & contract hiring campaign
Ableton needed a powerful campaign to attract the hard-to-find talent they were looking for. The campaign was underpinned by a tailored strategy for each role to understand and engage with the candidate markets in ways that would attract diverse, experienced individuals who would be an excellent addition to the team.
DE&I support
We've consulted on inclusivity in their EVP and recruitment process, invested in specialist job boards for diverse talent, designed campaigns that put under-represented people at the forefront and introduced operational changes to remove unconscious bias during the hiring process.
Market insights
Market insights, salary reports and competitor analysis have all been powerful tools that help our clients understand their target audience better and how to reach them with compelling employer branding.
Process design
We implemented a candidate feedback and continuous improvement process to help retain strong candidates in the pipeline. At the end of every project, we meet to talk about what went well, what didn’t and share ideas on what we can do collectively to make the candidate experience better and improve the overall hiring and onboarding process.
